Even Rogue Wants to Look Pretty

So, I really can't remember if I've filled ya'll in on the awesomeness* that is ModCloth.com. Basically, you can find some pretty sweet 1950's and 1960's style dresses there. They have something for every body type, and a bunch of dresses are $50 or less. I got my first two dresses from them in the mail last week and they fit great. Not to mention both dresses met with rave reviews.

I especially love this one. Plain but cute right? (Oh, it come in black and white polka dots too. ♥)

I found this site because I was bored on my break at work one day and thought to myself, "Gee, I wonder what 1950's maternity clothing looks like." (Random, I know, but it's totally legit right? I'm pretty sure all I have to reference for 1950's clothing comes from 50's TV, and I'm also pretty sure that they still thought that showing pregnant women on TV was obscene in the 1950's. So, I really don't think I've ever seen any 50's maternity clothing.) Anyways, this thought led to another about how cute 50's styles were, which got me to thinking about how a single gal like me needs a few flirty dresses (as if the [boy] geek population didn't have enough to be intimidated by, haha). Ergo, my discovery of ModCloth.com.

My only complaint is that their stuff tends to sell out rather quickly, and since I'm not a very patient person, waiting for them to email you that it's back in stock is sort of frustrating. (Ever heard of back ordering things ya'll? Then, I can at least order it and have it arrive randomly in the mail one day like a surprise present to myself. Geez!) But they do actually email you when the stuff comes back in stock, which is awesome.

*Just so we're clear, they're not sponsoring me or in any way giving me any sort of kickback to say this stuff. I just like to share when I find cool stuff. Mk?

..Though if one of their reps should happen to be reading this and think I'm awesome enough to warrant free stuff, I mean, I wouldn't turn it down. (Who in their right mind turns down free stuff?)
